The Flying Duck vineyard is planted on fertile sandy loam soils in the foothills of the King Valley in North Eastern Victoria. As we like to say, you could grow babies in it. The location of the vineyard in the foothills of the valley ensures that the vines have an ideal climate for optimum ripening conditions, with long warm Autumn days and cooler nights, allowing full flavour development while the grapes achieve a fine balance of sugar and acids. Our vineyard is one of the King Valleys best.
