Welcome to Flying Duck Wines

Flying Duck Wines is a small family owned winery and vineyard situated in the beautiful King Valley at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in North Eastern Victoria.  The vineyard was first planted in 1998 and purchased by Wayne and Sally Burgoyne with John and Karen Butler in 2001. Our vision is to produce small quantities of handcrafted premium wines from 100% estate grown grapes. This vision, along with a commitment to the highest possible standards, both in the vineyard and winery has brought outstanding results, with a number of awards being received for the wine.

In 2001 blocks of  Merlot and Viognier were planted and Sangiovese was planted in the spring of 2007.

Flying Duck Wines commitment to excellence was rewarded with the trophy for Best Wine by a Small Winemaker at the 2007 King Valley Wine Show for our Shiraz Viognier, along with other awards.
